Accents & Character Workshop

Pro Tools for Production is perfect for voice actors who are looking to compete in the ever-growing self-recording market, as well as those interested in becoming production company engineers and directors. This class will cover studio setup, Pro Tools files and folders overview, and an in-depth look at recording tools and functions. We will also dive into the world of self recording, functions and tips to help speed up and streamline workflow, preparing files for delivery, and MORE!

This one-day class is geared toward those interested in audio editing for production companies as well as voice actors who want to compete for fully produced self-recording projects. Over the course of the day, we will take an in-depth look at editing tools, explore advanced functions and tips, create different workflows for editing, discover helpful items in the top menus, and MORE! Completion of the “Pro Tools for Production” class is not required, but highly recommended.

Bronson Pinchot's Performance Party Six Acting Techniques on "How to Read a Book!"

Students will have the opportunity to work personally with Audie-winning narrator, critically acclaimed actor, and Yale graduate Bronson Pinchot on his Six Essential Tools to your best Audiobook Performance.

Students will also get to work with and be heard by our resident Head of Casting at Deyan Audio, Kevin Osborne. Following class, all students will be invited to sample Kevin's original beer from his brewery Cellador Ales. A delightful evening of knowledge and drinks with two great resources/experts on what makes a fantastic Audiobook Performance!
